Baby Jonathan | Buffalo New York Newborn Photographer
February 13, 2014
As I was dancing my heart out with my husband the night of our wedding, I saw Tiffany & Jon grab a frame & a baby bottle prop for the photo booth. I ran over there to get in a shot with them and I recall Tiffany saying “Jenny, we were trying to surprise you!” I remember seeing the baby bottle but was still completely oblivious to what the “surprise” was! The next day I found out Tiffany was pregnant and it all made sense! I was beyond happy for both of them.
When they asked me to photograph their pregnancy announcement I could not have been more thrilled! One of my favorite parts of being a photographer is when others welcome me into their lives during their most exciting milestones. When I have the chance to freeze those moments in time for close friends of mine, it’s that much more meaningful!
Shooting Tiffany & Jon's pregnancy session was so enjoyable. The morning included lots of laughs, many "awww" moments and numerous ideas coming from all of us, it was priceless. Some of my favorite photos from that day are by far the ones where we included the memory of Jon’s sister, Allison. Allison was an amazing person, with a beautiful smile and an infectious laugh that could brighten up any room she entered. Today, as she lives on in all of our hearts, I know she is watching over her family, friends & most of all her baby nephew. It only made sense to include her in these images that will last a lifetime <3
Finally, after finding out 7 months ago that Baby Clark was on his way, he arrived on Saturday. I excitedly drove up to Sisters Hospital the next day with my camera in hand. Before I started shooting, Jon put Baby Jonathan into my arms and I instantly fell in love, mostly because he was so handsome but also because he winked at me ; ) I don’t shoot a lot of newborns in the hospital but am so interested in doing more of these sessions. As much as I truly enjoy all the props and posing that goes into newborn photography shoots, there is something so real about these images that I love! I cannot wait to get this little man in my arms and in front of my lens again very soon!!
